Prophet I.

This allegorical sculpture was created after a long effort to characterize the specifics of the biblical prophets. It is a larger-than-life portrait in transparent epoxy with engraved gilt Hebrew text.

The person of a biblical prophet in his ministry was never as important as the message the prophet carried. An encounter with the prophet is also an encounter with the Word. The viewer, standing before the portrait, can read the prophetic message from the face of the prophet. These are biblical texts from several prophetic books whose contents refer to what is to happen.
