The etymological “Adamah” המהמדא “man of clay” became the inspiration for me in this figural composition. My goal was to express the biblical story of Adam the man through the sculpture based on body language and gestures alone. I do not present him as fallen as a result of sin, but as restored by faith in Jesus Christ. I depict a man who took a step-in faith, experienced liberation and restoration.
